After the recent visit of Delhi chief minister and national convener of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Arvind Kejriwal, the deputy CM Manish Sisodia will arrive in Uttarakhand on  a four-day visit to the Kumaon region on Thursday ahead of the 2022 Assembly elections. Like Kejriwal, it will also be Sisodia’s fifth visit to the state this year.  Addressing a Press conference in the party’s state office in Dehradun, the AAP’s spokesman Naveen Pirshali informed that Sisodia will first address a public gathering at Ramleela Maidan in Haldwani on Thursday evening. On Friday morning, he will conduct a Press conference in Bhimtal and afterwards, he will address public gatherings in Bhowali and Almora.

He added, “Sisodia will conduct a Press meeting in Kausani the next morning after which, he will address a public gathering in Bageshwar. On the last day of his visit, he will participate in a dialogue with the local businessmen in Rudrapur.” Pirshali said that AAP has made all arrangements for Sisodia’s four-day visit. On his last visit to Dehradun last month, Sisodia interacted with local businessmen where many businessmen talked about the issues they face while doing business.

In turn, the deputy CM promised them of making the state business-friendly if the party comes to power and asked for their support in the elections next year. According to some party workers, Sisodia will possibly try to woo the businessmen in the Kumaon region too and might make an announcement regarding the same on the last day of his visit on December 19.
