A free eye and cataract check up camp was held at JBIT with the help of Shri Eye Care Hospital. The institute vice chairman Sandeep Singhal inaugurated the camp along with the hospital chairman Dr Brij Bhushan. Singhal said that the camp had been organised for the institute’s teachers, employees and students. He said that since shifting to online mode of education due to the Covid pandemic, eye problems have increased among students and teachers due to which the need was felt for holding this camp. Addressing a seminar held on the occasion Dr Brij Bhushan said that people across age groups had developed some eye issues during the pandemic- the main reason for it being the increased screen time.
