The state health department reported the death of one patient from Covid-19 on Monday. This patient, a resident of Bageshwar district died in central hospital, Haldwani. With this the death toll in the state has mounted to 7414.
On Monday the department reported 11 new patients. The cumulative count of Covid-19 patients in the state is now at 3,44,602 while a total of 3,30,828 patients have recovered from the disease so far. The recovery percentage from the disease is at 96 per cent while the sample positivity rate on Monday was 0.07 per cent.
The state health department reported seven new patients from Dehradun, three patients from Haridwar and one from Udham Singh Nagar on Monday. No new patients were reported from the remaining 10 districts on the day.
The state now has 170 active cases of Covid-19. Dehradun with 75 cases is at the top of the table of active cases while Bageshwar, Tehri and Uttarkashi have no active cases of the disease now. In the ongoing vaccination drive 43,631 people were vaccinated in 1036 sessions on Monday.
