Traffic diversion plan enforced during CM’s visit

In latest news from Uttarakhand, in view of the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s Uttarkashi visit, traffic police enforced route diversion for vehicles. As per the plan, all the vehicles coming from Bhatwari on the Gangotri National Highway were diverted through the Tekla bypass bridge and parked in the Tiloth Power House ground. The heavy and light vehicles, coming from Rishikesh, Dharalu and Matli and heading towards Uttarkashi, were diverted through the Maneri bypass and parked in the truck union ground in Joshiyara and Chandravati bridge, respectively. The vehicles coming from Dhauntri and Manpur were parked in the Tiloth Power House ground while the vehicles, heading to Bhatwari, Harsil and Gangotri from Rishikesh and Barkot, were diverted through the Maneri bypass and made to move through the Tekhla bridge on the Joshiyara side. As per the traffic plan, heavy vehicles remained parked in Bandarkot from 6 in the morning till the completion of the CM’s programme.
