Cooperative Dept appoints dependents of deceased employees

In a humanitarian gesture the Cooperative department handed over appointment letters to four dependants of the deceased employees on compassionate grounds. On Tuesday the registrar of cooperatives Alok Pandey gave appointment letters to them at his office in Miyanwala, Dehradun.

 He said that guard Inder Ram was posted in district cooperative bank at Almora. He died on February 1, 2021. On Tuesday his son Prakash Chand Arya was appointed in the department. Similarly, Paramjeet Singh of Haridwar died in 2021 while Chandradeep Singh Rawat of Kotdwar died in 2022. On Tuesday Singh’s wife and Rawat’s daughter were appointed in the department. Shivani Rawat of Chamoli was also given an appointment letter on the day. Her father Bal Singh Rawat was the manager of district cooperative bank Chamoli at the time of his death.

Looking happy after receiving the letters, the new appointees thanked minister Dhan Singh Rawat, secretary BVRC Purushottam and registrar Pandey for their appointment in the department.
