Taking strong exception to the alleged remarks of the cabinet minister Ganesh Joshi, the Uttarakhand Congress has submitted a police complaint against the minister. The vice president (Organisation) of State Congress Mathura Dutt Joshi said that Joshi had made highly derogatory comments against the Congress party on the Vanbhulpura, Haldwani incident which apart from tarnishing the secular image of the Congress has made an attempt to disturb harmony in the State.
The Congress leader said that the party has demanded that the administration should register a case against the minister. He also demanded that the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami should remove Joshi from his cabinet. The minister had purportedly blamed the Congress party for instigating violence in Vanbhulpura area of Haldwani.
