CM hears public grievances in the Janata Darbar

 Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami heard the grievances of the people who had come from the different parts of the State at his residence on Friday. Interacting with them the CM assured that the problems raised by them would be solved soon. The CM addressed most of the issues on the spot and directed the officers that letters to the officers concerned should be sent for solving the issues raised by the people. He tersely told them that he would take feedback on the steps taken to resolve the issues of the people.

He said that action should be initiated against those officers who deliberately delay public works.

 Dhami said that the district magistrates have been directed to hear the public grievances for two hours daily. 

The CM is also taking constant feedback on the implementation of different schemes of the State government and he has directed the DMs to hold Janata Darbars, Tehsil Diwas and BDS meetings regularly.

 A person, a resident of Khedi Shikohpur of Haridwar district complained that the local Lekhpal has shown less land than he actually has in the copy of revenue record. On this the CM directed that the complaint should be investigated and if it is found to be correct then strict action should be taken. Another person told CM that he is suffering from severe back pain and requested the CM for his treatment. The CM directed the officers that his treatment should start immediately at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Rishikesh. Similarly a request to start roadways bus service to Rasia Mahadev was also made by a person on whom the CM assured that the issue would be examined. The additional director general of police V Murugeshan, additional secretary J C Kandpal and other officers were present on the occasion.
