SBI distributes relief materials to disaster affected villages

The State Bank of India distributed special relief materials to nine disaster affected Gram Sabhas in Chamoli district. The bank also held a free medical camp in these villages on the occasion.

The bank’s regional manager Vikas Vashisht inaugurated the programme in the remote village of Lata. He said that the bank had organised this programme to develop coordination with the villagers and progress. The bank provided special relief materials for hamlets under nine Gram Sabhas affected by disaster in February this year.

Branch manager Gabbar Singh Rawat said that the programme had been organised to motivate the villagers who had acted courageously during disaster.
