CM lays foundation for, inaugurates works worth Rs 343 crore in Pithoragarh

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated and laid the foundation for a total of 126 development works costing a total of about Rs 343 crore for the Pithoragarh district. These include 59 works which the chief minister dedicated to the public.

The chief minister did this after inaugurating the Sharadotsav and development exhibition here during his three-day tour of Pithoragarh district on Friday. The development works which Dhami inaugurated and unveiled the foundation stones for include various infrastructural development works along with construction and development works undertaken by various departments in the district.

The State’s Drinking Water minister Bishan Singh Chufal, Pithoragarh MLA Chandra Pant, Gangolihat MLA Meena Gangola, municipality chairman Rajendra Rawat, railway board member Geeta Thakur, district magistrate Ashish Chauhan, superintendent of police Lokeshwar Singh along with other public representatives and local office bearers of the Bharatiya Janata Party were also present on the occasion. Various cultural and other activities were also held as part of the Sharadotsav.
