Action on HoFF Bhartari, PCCF Mallik, Chief wildlife warden Suhag transferred. Transfers linked to illegal construction in Corbett National Park

In what is being viewed as a strict disciplinary action on the complaints of illegal construction on Corbett National Park and a stern message against corruption given by chief minister Puskhar Singh Dhami, the Uttarakhand administration has reshuffled the top brass of forest services in Uttarakhand. A total of 28 transfers have been made by the state government in the forest department.

The Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) and head of forest force (HoFF) Rajiv Bhartari has been removed from his post. He would be replaced by Vinod Kumar. Bhartari has been transferred to the Biodiversity board.

Similarly the Principal Chief Conservator Forests (wild life) Anoop Malik has been shunted out. The chief wildlife warden J S Suhag has been divested of his charge. The administration also removed DFO Kalagarh range Kishan Chand with immediate effect. Apart from it many other officers of the department have been shifted.

Action on Bhartari, Mallik, Suhag and Kishan Chandra is learnt to have been taken on the complaints of illegal construction in Corbett National Park.

Talking to the media persons at Vidhan Sabha on Friday, CM Dhami said that there were complaints against some officers of the forest department.

 Chief forest conservator Parag Madhukar Dhakate has been given additional charge of Chief wildlife warden of the state.
