CM Dhami’s tenure dismal, full of failures: AAP

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said that BJP is celebrating Pushkar Singh Dhami’s completion of two years as chief minister while ignoring the fact that the events that defamed the State took place under his leadership.

The party’s spokesman of the Garhwal division Ravindra Anand said that BJP has been making claims that Dhami is among the most popular CMs in the country which are completely baseless. He said that gruesome incidents like the murder of 19-year-old Ankita Bhandari in Rishikesh and the lathi charge on youths who were merely protesting for their rights and against the injustice of the government in Dehradun happened during the tenure of Dhami. He said that nothing important or incredible happened under the leadership of Dhami that positively affected the lives of common people.

“We would like to know on what basis BJP is claiming these past two years as to be successful and glorious. What major changes he brought that improved the life of people here,” questioned Anand. He claimed that heinous incidents that happened in the past two years have overshadowed every scandalous activity that occurred in the past 23 years. The public, especially youth, is quite aware of Dhami’s ‘glorious achievements’ and they will neither forget it nor forgive him for it, added Anand.
