CM Dhami celebrates state foundation day in Gairsain

On the occasion of the state foundation day on Tuesday the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited Bharadisain in summer capital Gairsain. The Jawans of Police, home guards and ITBP presented a majestic ceremonial parade in the assembly premises to mark the day.

Paying homage to the statehood martyrs, the CM In his address said that the day holds special importance for Uttarakhand as new state was created after the struggle of countless number of people. Dhami remembered former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee for creating Uttarakhand. He said that Uttarakhand is moving ahead on the path of development due to special love PM Modi has for the state and cooperation of central government.

He said that projects like All Weather road and Bharat Mala are going on in the state. The air connectivity to the state has increased. He said that the dream of the highlanders for a rail in the mountains is getting realised with the ongoing Rishikesh- Karnprayag rail project.  Dhami added that the final survey of the strategically important Tanakpur- Bageshwar rail project has been approved. The CM said that by the year 2025 every village of the state would be connected by link roads with the major roads. The CM added that infrastructure for setting up industries in the mountainous parts would be built which will in solving the problem of migration from the hills.
