AAP to contest in every ward in municipal elections: Mohania

The in-charge of the Uttarakhand unit of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Dinesh Mohania has said that the party would contest in all the wards in the municipal elections in the State. He chaired a meeting of the office bearers of the party here on Sunday. In the meeting Mohania was severe on the leaders of the party who are not active. He said that one year is about to be completed for the Assembly elections but the appointments of ward presidents have not been done which is very disappointing. On a stern note the State in-charge directed all district presidents, Vidhan Sabha in charges and others that all ward presidents should be compulsorily appointed till January 30.  He said that the party would not be able to contest elections properly if the party workers are not there at booth level. Mohania said that the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) election results have unleashed a new energy in the party and the people are getting attracted towards the party. Mohania stressed that the party organisation should be strengthened to win elections and the party leaders should work dedicatedly in this aspect.

 The State convenor of the party Jot Singh Bisht, co-coordinator DK Pal, vice president Naresh Sharma, R P Raturi, Azad Ali, Uma Sisodia and others were also present in the meeting.
