BJP sure to achieve resounding win in 2022 polls: Kaushik

The newly appointed state president of Bharatiya Janata Party, Madan Kaushik said that considering the enthusiasm among party workers, the party is sure to achieve a resounding victory in the 2022 Assembly elections. He said this after reaching the party’s state office along with chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat and other party leaders in a rally which passed through various areas of the city on Monday.

Addressing the party workers he said that all should work according to the organisation, adding that the decision taken by the party organisation is always for the best. He said, “We have a leader like Prime Minister Narendra Modi whose policies are now being followed in various countries. We have to ensure that each scheme of the central and state government reaches every citizen while also fulfilling the expectations and aspirations of the public.”

Speaking on the occasion, CM Tirath Singh Rawat asked party workers to think first for the nation and then the party organisation, adding that the party will take them forward. “I will work according to the organisation and fulfill the expectations of the people and party workers to discharge the responsibility accorded to me by the party organisation,” he said.

Earlier, Kaushik, CM, former BJP state president and current cabinet minister Banshidhar Bhagat and other party leaders participated in a rally of party workers which began from the party’s Mahanagar office near Parade Ground and passed through various areas. Happy with the decision of the CM to rethink the state government’s earlier decision on Devsthanam Board, members of the Teerth Purohit fraternity welcomed Rawat and Kaushik near Gandhi Park. Members of social organisations from Garhwal and Kumaon dressed in traditional attire also welcomed the rally at different locations. Cabinet ministers Bishan Singh Chufal, Subodh Uniyal, Ganesh Joshi, Arvind Pandey, State ministers Dhan Singh Rawat, Rekha Arya, Swami Yatishwaranand and various party leaders were also present at the function held in the party’s state office.
