In latest news from Doon, former State cabinet minister and veteran BJP leader Mohan Singh Rawat ‘Gaonwasi’ passed away at a private hospital in the city after prolonged illness. Among those who mourned his death are the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the former chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, the State tourism minister Satpal Maharaj and the State health minister Dhan Singh Rawat. Dhan Singh Rawat in his condolence message said that the deceased leader was known for his hard work for strengthening BJP’s organisation in the State.
