BJP finalises programme for Maha Sampark campaign

Government’s achievements to be exhibited, public to be contacted to consolidate support for PM Modi on completion of 9 years in office

The Bharatiya Janata Party has finalised its plan for the Maha Sampark campaign being undertaken to mark nine years of the Central government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Responsibilities have been handed over to party leaders and office bearers for handling different aspects of this campaign. As per the schedule released on the directions of the BJP State president Mahendra Bhatt, the chief minister and party’s State president will hold a Press conference on May 29 in addition to holding a meet with social media influencers. These two programmes will be organised at the Lok Sabha level from June 1 to 5.

The party’s State media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan, Chandan Bisht, State co media in-charge and spokesman Vinod Suyal have been made responsible for organising these programmes.Other office bearers have been deputed to convene the meeting with social media influencers. A programme will be held in a major city in every Lok Sabha constituency. From June 1 to 20, the party will hold large public gatherings at the Lok Sabha level for which the party’s State general secretary Aditya Kothari has been made the convenor. 

During this period, the party will contact 75 special persons/families in each Vidhan Sabha constituency for which the party’s State general secretary Rajendra Bisht has been made the convenor. Conferences of senior party workers will also be held at the Vidhan Sabha constituency level from June 5 to 10. Conferences with members of the business fraternity will be held at the Lok Sabha level from June 6 to 10. From June 10 to 12, the BJP will organise Vikas Tirth programmes at the Lok Sabha level as part of which tiffin meets will be held at the biggest sites of development works facilitated by the Centre in the Lok Sabha constituency.

The media persons will also be invited to these gatherings. At the Vidhan Sabha level, beneficiary meetings will be held from June 15 to 20 while the Yoga day programme will be held on June 21. Exhibitions on the achievements of the Central government during the past nine years will be held at every programme venue.
