BJP & Congress deploy media teams for counting day

The Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress have set up media centres and deployed teams of their party leaders to interact with the media during the counting of votes today.

The BJP has set up a media war room at its State office and directed 15 of its leaders to remain present there to participate in debates on news channels during the counting of votes. These party members will be present there from 8 AM to 8 PM on Thursday. Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal, State general secretary Kuldeep Kumar, State vice president Devendra Bhasin, State media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan, State spokesmen Suresh Joshi, Vinod Juyal, Vinay Goel, Navin Thakur, Vipin Kainthola, Shadab Shams, Ravindra Jugran along with party leaders Virendra Singh Bisht, Geeta Thakur, Deepti Rawat Bharadwaj and Madhu Bhatt will be present in the party’s media war room.

The Congress too has set up a media centre at its State headquarters.  The media in-charge of Uttarakhand Congress, Rajiv Mehrishi said that he along with general secretary (Organisation) Mathura Dutt Joshi, Garhwal media in-charge Garima Dasauni, spokespersons Lakpat Butola, Pratima Singh, Surat Singh Negi and Sujata Paul would remain in the media centre from 8 AM on Thursday. The state spokesman Deep Vohra would be deployed at the media centre at Maharana Pratap Sports stadium and coordinate with the media panel of the party.
