In latest news from Uttarakhand, addressing an awareness programme organised by Prajapati Brahma Kumari on drug menace as part of the drug- free India campaign run by the Central government in Barkot in Uttarkashi district, the inspector in-charge Barkot police station Santosh Singh Kunwar urged the people to stay away from drug and the drug-addicted to quit the deadly habit. He said that substance abuse ruins not just the health of the addicts but also family, society and country. He also dwelt on how to quit drugs. Aside from police officers and employees and functionaries of Prajapati Brahma Kumari, members of various social organisations based in Barkot and students attended.
