With the application process for the Chief Minister’s Higher Education Research Promotion Scheme having started,
the registrar of Kumaon University, Mangal Singh Mandrawal appealed to the researchers associated with the university and the newly appointed assistant professors and teachers to take advantage of the proposals for the academic session 2025-26 under the scheme.
He further informed that this scheme is being run by the Uttarakhand government to encourage research activities in the higher education institutions of the State. Under this, financial assistance would be provided to the selected research proposals, adding that applications can be sent online through the Samarth portal till July 31.
