Weather continues to get warmer in State

The weather in the State continues to get warmer by the day with minimum temperatures rising also in mountainous regions. The State meteorological centre has forecast dry weather in the districts of the state on Tuesday. The provisional state capital Dehradun is forecast to experience mainly clear sky with the maximum and minimum temperatures likely to be about 29 degrees Celsius and 12 degrees Celsius respectively on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in various parts of the state on Monday were 27.6 degrees Celsius and 12.4 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 28.1 degrees Celsius and 11.5 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 16.5 degrees Celsius and 8.9 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 18.4 degrees Celsius and 9.6 degrees Celsius in New Tehri. The minimum temperatures recorded in Dehradun on Monday departed one degree from normal while in Pantnagar and Mukteshwar it was two degrees and four degrees respectively.
