After a virtual meeting with the Union Home Minister Amit Shah against the backdrop of Operation Sindoor and volatility prevailing along the country’s borders with Pakistan, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed the senior officers of the administration and police to ramp up security across the State in view of the ongoing Char Dham Yatra and with particular stress on the international border areas. The CM also emphasised on intensifying vigil around the critical infrastructure, important establishments of national importance, dams and power facilities. He gave these directions while chairing a high-level meeting held at his residence here on Wednesday.
Further, he asked the senior officers to stock essential items, including food stuffs and essential medicines, in adequate quantity for any emergency. Besides, he directed stern actions against those involved in rumour mongering.
