The town smart vending zone committee formed by Municipal Corporation of Roorkee (MCR) has approved setting up of two of the six smart vending zones approved in Roorkee city. A meeting of this committee was held in which Roorkee mayor Gaurav Goel, MCR officials and representatives of the business fraternity along with district officials and police officers were present. The committee approved establishment of the smart vending zones in the stretch fro MCR bridge to BSNL office and from Ganeshpur to the railway station. Apart from this, the organisations concerned with setting up of the smart vending zones have been invited to the meeting of the town vending zone committee on October 16 to make their presentations.
