To commemorate World Environment Day, Uttarkashi Police organised tree plantation programme in all police stations and posts of the district, including Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham, to give the message of environmental protection and promotion. The superintendent of police, Uttarkashi, Sarita Dobal planted saplings with police officers and personnel in the police line campus.
She urged the police personnel to plant as many saplings as possible around them, take care of them and maintain cleanliness.
