One new case of Covid-19 was reported in Rishikesh, Dehradun district, on Thursday. According to officials, this positive case involves a foreign female tourist who recently travelled to Rishikesh. Further, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Dehradun Dr Manoj Kumar Sharma said that with this new case, the cumulative number of Covid-19 cases in the area has now reached 23. This total includes 15 local cases and seven cases involving migrants, along with one case from Haridwar. Currently, there are three active Covid-19 cases in Dehradun district. One individual is receiving treatment at Primus Hospital, while the other two are being cared for at home. Dr Sharma also said that 27 samples were tested for Covid-19 on Thursday, bringing the overall number of samples tested so far to 195. Notably, there have been no reported deaths related to Covid-19 in Dehradun.
