3 car robbery accused arrested from Haridwar

Dehradun police arrested three of the four accused involving a car loot case reported at the Raiwala police station. The quartet is from Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh. Notably, police had started acting on the case after a Patel Nagar resident Rajendra Singh Rathore registered a complaint, stating that his taxi (Swift Dzire) had been looted from Raiwala area on May 6 by four persons who booked the car on their way back to Bijnor from Dehradun.
After scrutinising the CCTV footages, the police team-formed to crack the case-arrested three of the accused from near Chandi Devi mandir in Haridwar. According to police, the trio was driving to Dehradun in the looted car with the original number plate replaced with a forged one. Police further said that they might have come back to Uttarakhand to loot another car. The trio was identified as Arman (20), Osama (19) and Ali Raj (19), all from Bijnor. Search for the fourth accused was on, police added.
