A meeting was held at the Kumaun University presided over by the vice chancellor Manmohan Singh Chauhan during which four committees were formed for the visit of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) team to the university from May 15 to 17. It is learnt from the university officials that the meeting was held to take stock of the preparations being made for the upcoming visit of the NAAC team. During the meeting, Prof Rajeev Upadhyay presented the details regarding the preparations. The university officials further said that all the department heads and faculty heads have been directed to be fully prepared for the NAAC team visit.
