While celebrating the77th anniversary of India’s independence, UPES prepared and showed a music video themed on ‘India Leads the World’. The organisers of the programme said that available on YouTube, the music video celebrates the spirit of the nation, adding that it would be showcased by UFO Cine Media Network across 300+ theatres in different cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Lucknow and Varanasi. Created in association with Silvercord Films, the music video cherishes the work of the great Indian musical maestros whose original rendition ‘Mile Sur Mera Tumhara’ struck a chord with every Indian. The chairman, the deans, the faculty, the students, and the staff members joined the video to collectively represent UPES’ educational ethos of inclusivity, respect and passion.
