The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will stage protests in all the 70 assembly constituencies of the state on the occasion of the state foundation day of Uttarakhand on Tuesday. The party would pose 21 questions to Congress and BJP leaders about the development work carried out by them in the past 21 years.

The chief ministerial candidate of the party, Ajay Kothiyal will also present a chargesheet on behalf of the public and will question both the parties on their contribution to the state’s development during this period. The state spokesman of the party, Naveen Pirshali told media persons here on Monday that both Congress and BJP have failed to develop the state as dreamed by the martyrs when they demanded the state to be separated from Uttar Pradesh. He said that the successive governments of both parties have failed to provide good health services, quality education and employment opportunities to the public in the past 21 years and the situation continues to get worse with each passing day.

“We will ask 21 questions to the leaders of both parties about the development works carried out by them in over two decades on behalf of the public. We will hold demonstrations in all 70 constituencies on November 9 questioning what they actually did to fulfil the dreams of the martyrs of Uttarakhand,” stated Pirshali. He said that Kothiyal will also participate in the protest to question the parties on behalf of the public on the occasion of the state foundation day.
