In latest Uttarakhand news, the SSP Nainital Pankaj Bhatt informed that the Lalkuan police arrested two smack smugglers and seized 175 gm of smack powder from them. Police further said that the international market price of the smacks seized is Rs 35 lakh. While being questioned, the smack smugglers said that they had bought the smacks from a peddler identified as Taslim. Police informed that Taslim is now on the run and the police are on the lookout for him. The two-wheeler used in smuggling smacks was also impounded by police. The smuggler duo hails from Uttar Pradesh and they would buy the smacks at Bareilly and then take the narcotics to Lalkuan and its neighbouring areas to sell.
