CM addresses public grievances at Janata Darbar

The chief minister Pushkar Singh Dham heard the grievances of the public at his residence on Saturday. Large number of people from different parts of the State informed the CM about their problems related to health, road, employment and land. The CM assured them that their grievances will be addressed soon. On most of the complaints, the CM directed the officers concerned to solve them on the spot.

 Speaking on the occasion, Dhami said that for prompt redressal of the public grievances the district magistrates have been directed to dedicate at least two hours in a day. The CM said that he is taking feedback of the progress of different schemes being undertaken by the government during the visits of the districts. The DMs have also been asked to hold regular Janata Darbars, Tehsil diwas and meetings of the BDC. He said that fast disposal of public grievances is the objective of his government. Dhami directed the officers of CM office to send the public grievances and complaints received in the office to the department concerned for disposal. On a stern note the CM said that action should be initiated against such officers who have a habit of delaying the action on the public grievances. He said that the people should submit their grievances on the CM helpline 1905 and said that a system of disposal of complaints on the helpline has been set in place.  Some women also tied Rakhi on the wrist of the CM and wished for his long life. Dhami expressed greetings of Raksha Bandhan to the women.

 The additional chief secretary Radha Raturi, secretary SN Pandey and inspector general of police KS Nagnyal were also present on the occasion.
