In latest Uttarakhand news, a block level boxing competition involving school students was held in Bhimtal block. The organisers said that about 50 students from schools based in Jeolikot, Nainital, Bhimtal and Banana displayed their boxing skills in the competition. Notably, the competition was organised under three categories: under-14, under-17 and under-19 age groups with the participation of both boys and girls. The organisers further informed that those selected in this competition would participate in the Nainital district-based boxing competition scheduled in the mini stadium in Haldwani on September 25 and 26.
