Rs 154 crore approved from CRF for U’khand

A sum of Rs 154.29 crore has been approved from the Central Road Fund (CRF) for four works in Uttarakhand. Out of the approved amount, a sum of Rs 30.86 crore has been released. Following this development, the chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has thanked the Union minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari.

The works for which the amount has been approved include widening and strengthening work from the paved shoulder between kilometres one and 19 on the Roorkee-Laksar-Balawali state highway 26, double-laning and strengthening of Bhogpur-Raysi state highway 67, widening and strengthening of the Saraybasedi motor road from kilometres one to 21 and construction of 180 metre RCC box culvert across the Sheetala river on the Lambarpur-Langha motor road in Dehradun district.
