In latest news from Dehradun, while hailing the poll rallies of Priyanka Gandhi in Uttarakhand as highly successful, the State Congress chief spokesperson Garima Mehra Dasauni said that she has been leading the star poll campaign for the Congress singlehandedly like a lioness against the might of the saffron star brigade and she is overshadowing her rivals. “While the BJP’s star campaigners are busy taking the simple people of Uttarakhand for a ride by dishing out false promises Prinaka alone has been trying to shift the campaign theme from rhetoric to real issues,” she said and added that she had hit the nail on the saffronites’ head on sensitive issues like Agniveer, unemployment, old pension scheme and inflation among others. She further said that Priyanka is expounding the public- spirited Nyaya Patra scheme which is meant to provide succour to the weaker sections of the society.
Notably, Priyanka Gandhi addressed a rally in Ramnagar and is to address another in Roorkee.
