PEN-India School selected under CSC Bal Vidyalaya scheme

The PEN-India School, where the children of very poor parents are taught has earned the distinction of being the first CSC Academy Certified Children’s School in Doiwala Block of Dehradun. There are more than 450 CSC Academy affiliated schools running across the country. The CSC Academy is operating under the aegis of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India

The Project Manager of CSC Rajesh Tiwari inspected the PEN-India School located at Bhaniyawala and inquired about the activities conducted by the school.

The curriculum for these schools is prepared by an expert panel of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi.

The Patron of PEN-India Foundation (PIF), Dr Prakash Keshaviah said that with the help of modern technology through CSCs, cultured and quality education will be given to the students. The PIF Founder Anoop Rawat said that the selection of PEN-India School by CSC Academy is a great honour and inspiration for all those associated with the school. The Co-founder Santosh Budakoti said that with the help of high standard technology, the school will give activity based education to the youngsters instead of routine learning. Teachers in the school are also constantly trained by the experts of IIT Delhi from time to time. 

The Project Manager, CSC Education and Skill Development, Ketan Pandey said that under the Digital India campaign of the Government of India, CSC Academy has so far selected about 450 schools across the country as CSC Children’s Schools which includes 16 schools in Uttarakhand.
