Says the party set to hold power in Uttarakhand with a big majority

The national president of BJP, J P Nadda has said the BJP is only party in the country which contests elections on the strength of its workers and not leaders. He asserted that the BJP is a cadre based party and they ensure its victory. Nadda was addressing the senior functionaries of Uttarakhand BJP, conveners of the Shakti Kendras and in-charges virtually on Wednesday. The address of the party president was watched by the party leaders at IRDT auditorium and by the workers and functionaries in all the 70 constituencies of the state. Nadda said that the people preferred BJP in the elections of 2014, 2017 and 2019 due to its transparency, good governance and service. He proclaimed that the BJP would emerge victorious in Uttarakhand in the elections of 2022 with a big majority under the leadership of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. In his address Nadda highlighted the steps taken by the government during the pandemic of Covid-19 and said that the biggest and fastest vaccination drive was conducted in India but on it the opposition tried to mislead the people. The BJP president said that more than 2.5 crore people got vaccine shots on the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi which is a world record. He said that the All Weather road and Rishikesh- Karnprayag rail projects would take Uttarakhand forward on the path of rapid development. Nadda said that the state has a vast potential for tourism and it has made a policy to promote film industry. He reminded that Uttarakhand was created by Atal Bihari Vajapayee government and the state is being developed and nurturned by PM Modi. Nadda asked the party leaders to undertake regular reviews with the booth level workers and incharges of Shakti Kendras.

Speaking on the occasion the president of Uttarakhand BJP Madan Kaushik said that all the workers and leaders of the party are actively working as per the victory map created during the Chintan Shivir in Ramnagar.

CM Dhami said that the state government is working while keeping the issues of public interests central. He highlighted the efforts of his government in Covid-19 management and relief packages for different sectors.

The general secretary organisation Ajey said that the party is fully prepared for the assembly elections of 2022 in the state and it would achieve a landslide victory.
