More than 200 roads were reported to be blocked in various parts of the State due to rains and resulting factors on Saturday. According to information received from the State Emergency Operations Centre (SEOC), 240 roads were reported to be blocked in the State on Saturday.
One State highway, three main district roads, one other district road and 12 rural motor roads along with nine bridges were damaged in Haridwar district. One State highway and 24 rural motor roads were reported blocked in the Uttarkashi district while 13 rural motor roads were blocked in Rudraprayag district. One main district road, one other district road and 26 rural motor roads were reported blocked in Dehradun district while one State highway and 20 rural motor roads were blocked in Tehri district.
Four rural motor roads were blocked in Bageshwar district, one State highway, two main district roads and 62 rural motor roads were blocked in Pauri district while two rural motor roads were blocked in Almora district. Eighteen rural motor roads were blocked in Chamoli district, one State highway (partial) and 18 rural motor roads were blocked in Nainital, one State highway and six rural motor roads were blocked in Champawat district while two border roads and 18 rural motor roads were blocked in Pithoragarh district.
