In latest news from Doon, Manish Khanduri- son of the former Uttarakhand chief minister Bhuwan Chandra Khanduri- who quit the Congress joined the BJP. Meanwhile, the saffron party’s campaign vehicle has hit the streets with its flagging off being attended by the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and the State BJP election in-charge Dushyant Kumar Gautam among others. During its journey across the State, the vehicle would be used to apprise the people of the multiple projects rolled out by the Centre and the State government meant to transform the State developmentally, the BJP leaders said.
