A man allegedly hacked his relative to death with an axe on suspicion of having an affair with his wife in Dehradun’s Raipur block. The police informed that the accused named Hariram who lives in a slum area in Raipur brutally killed his wife’s relative after he allegedly saw her with the victim Badri in an objectionable condition. The victim was also their neighbour. The police said that the accused allegedly did not find his wife at home late on Wednesday night and when he went outside to look for her in the neighbourhood, he found her in an objectionable situation with Badri, a distant brother-in-law of Hariram’s wife. The police informed that Hariram’s wife registered the complaint against the accused who is presently absconding. The police have started the investigation and would soon nab him, said the police.
