Responding to the allegations leveled by the Congress, the Bharatiya Janata Party has claimed that the government provided satisfactory answers to all questions raised during the Assembly session. The BJP State media in-charge Manveer Chauhan averred that better decisions were taken in public interest during the session. In order to avoid commenting on these decisions, the Congress is complaining about the duration of the session, he said.

Chauhan said that the negative atmosphere which the Congress had created was nullified by the government. “The government replied to all questions raised in the Assembly session considering which the questions being raised about the duration of the session are illogical. There is no point in the demand of the opposition to run the house longer when all its questions have been answered properly. Irrespective of the questions being raised by the Congress, this winter session of the Assembly will be remembered for the historic bills passed in it. The Congress MLAs were scattered and uncontrolled during the session and are now trying to divert the issues as they are on the radar of their party high command and senior leaders,” said Chauhan.

He said that Arya has also been the Vidhan Sabha speaker in the past and knows the system better. He said attempts may have been made to evade questions during Arya’s term as the speaker and the tenure of the Congress government but that was not the case in the session this time as all questions were answered in a satisfactory manner.
