Lockdown in Delhi extended till May 3

The ongoing lockdown in Delhi has been extended by another week, with the national Capital still showing a high positivity rate despite a marginal drop in the daily coronavirus figures.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday said saying the severity of Covid-19 is unabated and positivity rate has been as high as 36 per cent in the last few days.

The lockdown imposed on April 19 night will now continue till 5 am on May 3, he said. Before extension, it was scheduled to end at 5 am on April 26.
