The KGCCI organised a meeting attended by the Udham Singh Nagar SSP Manjunath TC and other police officers. VK Lal of KGCCI appreciated the work being done by the police in the district. He said that swift action being taken against criminals has resulted in a consistent drop in the crimes taking place in the district. The chambers general secretary AK Goyal appreciated the successful efforts of the police which prevent traffic issues during the new year celebrations. He said that though the law and order situation is decent in the district, some issues crop up from time to time due to the city being an industrial city.
