The 23rd inter house annual athletic meet of The Asian School was inaugurated by the principal Ruchi Pradhan Datta on Saturday.
A number of events were held on the first day. In the finals of the 800 metre run (open, girls), Bhoomi Umar of Arjun house came first while in the 800 metre run final (boys) above 14, Shashwat Gupta of Ranjeet house came first. This athletic meet will conclude on October 19 and will witness the finals of over 30 track and field events in various categories.
