The hockey competition organised by the district sports office concluded in Dehradun on Tuesday. The competition was organised to celebrate the birth anniversary of Dhayn Chand. According to district sports officer Nidhi Binjola, the hockey competition and the inter-school basketball competition for both girls and boys was underway in the city for three days.
The final match of the hockey open men category was held between MP Sports College and IDPL Rishikesh with MP Sports College emerging victorious with a score of 7-3. She further stated that in the inter-school basketball competition for both boys and girls, Doon International School emerged victorious.
