A few books have been able to portray the pain and wrath of the pre and post-partition phase of India. In her book The Silent Warriors, author Vidushi Singh makes the readers aware of the hard realities which people are still facing.
Taking the partition’s effect on Lahore and Amritsar into consideration, the book delves into the emotional, cultural, religious and social downfall caused by India’s partition. However, the author does not play the blame game which makes the book different in its treatment of the subject.
