In latest Uttarakhand news, some girl students of the government inter-college at Kamad village in Uttarkashi district were found behaving in a bizarre manner, screaming and fainting, in their classrooms, making the locals to ascribe it to the spell cast by a devi. Speaking of the matter, the principal of the college said that such strange incidents keep happening since the classes started in a new building and this is why it is proving difficult for the institute’s management to continue with the classes there. Differing with the principal on this matter, the chairperson of the institute’s managing committee Ratan Singh Negi said that this is happening due to the classes being held in new building without prior puja or performance of religious rituals.
