The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Uttarakhand claimed that Congress wants to bypass the constitution and divide the country by bringing Muslim reservations like it did in Karnataka. Congress had allegedly deposited a large part of its assets and earnings through the Compulsory Deposit Scheme Act 1963 in 1963 and 1974. The Modi government aims to strengthen the country by increasing people’s earnings but Congress intends to weaken people by confiscating their earnings, the Rajya Sabha MP and senior BJP leader Naresh Bansal said during a Press conference in Dehradun on Wednesday. He said that the BJP warned the public about the dangerous intentions of Congress. Bansal alleged that Congress has a hidden agenda to snatch people’s property as recently revealed by Congress leader Sam Pitroda himself. He said that privileged Congress leaders have also recently stated that the government should impose more tax on middle class people. Congress says that it will also impose a tax on the inheritance received from parents. “Children will not get the wealth their parents accumulated through hard work all their life. Congress has been planning to snatch that away. The party’s mantra is to snatch and loot from people even after their death. People will be paying inheritance taxes after their death. Those, who have given the Congress Party to their children considering it the ancestral property, do not want hardworking people to give their property to their children. Congress and its political alliance are only eyeing people’s money,” Bansal said. He said that if Congress comes to power, it will take possession of all properties and distribute them to everyone. “Our mothers and sisters have gold which is considered sacred but Congress wants to conduct a survey to steal this gold. The mangalsutra of our mothers and sisters will no longer be safe. All of this is clearly written in the Congress manifesto,” Bansal claimed. He said that Congress has always used appeasement politics as a weapon to win elections. He alleged that once again, Congress wants to work on a plan to give Muslims the first right to the country’s resources. As per their plan, Muslims will be included in the list of Scheduled Caste and will be given a separate 15 per cent reservation in government jobs. The reservation for Other Backward Classes will also be divided based on religion and Muslims will get a separate six per cent reservation as per Congress’ plan, he added. He clarified that the BJP aims to alert everyone about Congress’s contentious policy of looting the public and wants it to publicly accept its hidden agenda or remove this topic from its manifesto.
