The Congress will be attempting its best to corner the State government in the budget session of the Vidhan Sabha at Bharadisain in Gairsain. Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party too is prepared to meet the opposition with apt replies in the Assembly. The opposition party is planning to confront the government on various issues both in the Assembly and outside.
The Congress has planned to stage a large protest at Gairsain to protest against the government on a range of issues. The protest is slated to be held in the summer capital on Monday morning. According to the Congress, the demonstration in Gairsain on the first day of the budget session will be held to protest against the State government’s stance on various burning issues.
The protest will be on the issues of Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission recruitment scam, rising unemployment in the State, corruption, the Ankita Bhandari murder case, price rise, lathi-charge of unemployed youth protesting in Dehradun, the deteriorating law and order condition in the State and the alleged apathy of the State government towards the Joshimath land subsidence disaster.
