Cong to stage rally demanding justice for Ankita Bhandari

In latest news from Uttarakhand, demanding justice for the family of Ankita Bhandari who was allegedly murdered in a resort in Rishikesh, the Congress is set to take out a march from the Rishikul tiraha to Shankar Ashram on January 17 that is slated to start at 11.30 am. Informing this, the district Congress leaders said that they had made preparations for this march and urged the people to participate in it in large numbers to press the demand for justice to the bereaved family. The acting president of the Haridwar district Congress Aman Garg tore into the BJP government and said that they were out to keep someone away from the reach of justice. The district Women Congress leaders also charged fusillades against the State government, saying that the women were feeling insecure in the State with the ruling party leaders humouring the rapists and other criminals involved in crimes against women.
