The Congress workers and leaders have expressed happiness on the appointment of former CM Harish Rawat as permanent invited member of CWC and former PCC president Ganesh Godiyal as special invited member in the CWC.
The PCC president Karan Mahara said that the appointment of Rawat and Godiyal in the CWC has given representation to the State at the central level and the Congressmen of the State express their gratitude to the central leadership for it. Mahara also congratulated the incharge of Uttarakhand Congress, Devendra Yadav and Gurdip Singh Sappal for a place in the CWC and expressed hope that the Congress party will achieve desired result in Lok Sabha elections of 2024.
The vice president (organisation) Mathura Dutt Joshi said that the commitment of Harish Rawat, Devendra Yadav, Ganesh Godiyal and Sappal towards the party is commendable.
