Cold wave conditions likely in Udham Singh Nagar today

The State meteorological centre has issued a warning regarding the possibility of cold wave conditions in Udham Singh Nagar district on Tuesday. Dry weather is likely to prevail in the districts of the State. The meteorological centre issued a warning (watch) regarding cold wave likely to occur at isolated places in Udham Singh Nagar district on Tuesday. Further, fog/dense fog is also likely to occur in some parts of Udham Singh Nagar district during the morning hours.  Ground frost is likely to occur at isolated places in the plains of the State.

The provisional State capital Dehradun is forecast to experience mainly clear sky with mist likely to occur during the morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 28 degrees Celsius and seven degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in various parts of the State on Monday were 28.4 degrees Celsius and seven degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 26.5 degrees Celsius and 3.6 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 19.9 degrees Celsius and seven degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 21.7 degrees Celsius and 8.6 degrees Celsius respectively in New Tehri.
